Customize the office layout
Would be great if you could change the office layout and design to fit what we like.
"The Office" layout
One of the most famous Office layouts in the world, is probably the TV series The Office (US) 😆 It could be done as an Eater Egg satire kind of thing, having it as an option with the new office designs, without much legal trouble as no branding is needed. There is plenty of fan made 2D and 3D renderings of the layout online and it also have the benefit of already being made to be the “ordinary 9-5 office space” in the US, which includes the default department spaces, tabels etc.
BeZoned on Teams App
Before the audio stack change update, I was able to launch BeZoned on my Teams mobile App and join a table for handsfree tabel talk while driving. It seems after this update, the Mic is stuck forever refreshing without being able to connect. Seems like it just wont connect to either the car mic or the phones mic. Edit: Testet with normal headphones on bluetooth with phone and that works …
Suggested mute-boxes for phone meetings
Have phone boxes in the office, so that when you enter your status is set to Do Not Disturb and speaker/mic are muted.
Share short lived announcements/communications
In order to share small updated during the day of something great or other news one would like to tell your coworkers; it would be great to create a “temporary” sticky announcement that could be seen in the BeZoned office window and that would be removed after typically 12 hours or end of day. Announcements could be, “Just had a great meeting with our partner/customer XYZ”, “We just cracked the problems we had in dev with the servers”, “It’s Annas birthday today!”, etc.
Chat window size
The chat window should be scalable, meaning you can drag its edges in both directions to fit the window to your needs. In addition, I would like to be able to scale (zoom) the text size within the chat window
Guests in BeZoned
Make it possible that you can invite guests into your BeZoned office. Guests as Teams regard them, and with the same rights and security.
Add external link to a Table menu
In order to easy open a web page or e.g. a Planner from another table/room.
Dynamic meeting rooms
Dynamic meeting rooms is the ability to create rooms for the purpose of e.g. projects or ongoing activities like status meetings. In the rooms all stay as when you left them, meaning e.g. whiteboards and planners, including alle the materials stored in the file folder. Following this we will be working on automatic cleaning functionality for all types of rooms and AI functionality to help as a secretary that is specialized in the content of the room.
Background Audio Options (Music & White Noise)
In many forms of media like movies and video games, music plays a key role in creating immersion and setting the tone. I believe adding an optional background audio feature, such as ambient music, within the app could help users improve focus, creativity, or establish the right mindset during individual or collaborative work sessions. Also, offering white noise as a background option could help reduce distractions from surrounding sounds (e.g., keyboard typing, side conversations). I've seen white noise effectively used to mask ambient noise in shared spaces. It really helped with clarity during phone calls or virtual meetings. It would be great to have customizable background audio options that users can toggle based on their needs.

Mic default setting on/off
We talked about this and wondered why not make the selected Default one you set, but also have it affect your Microphone default. Our Lounge atm is used also as a Lunch area where people can be away, Round table is for open talk and corner is for DnD. So if in our case, you join the round tabel, your mic will be set to on. If you join a Do Not Disturb, mic would be off (and maybe not able to turn on) while away is off when you join but able to turn on). Somewhat like Teams do with their rules on when you join a meeting with above X people mic is off by default.

Getting kicked in Teams Web
If using the Teams web version then you automatically get kicked if not active in that browser for more than 45 minuts. Auto kick will be disabled when in Teams web version.

"Silent table" with forced mute
It would be nice to have/set a table to “silent” and force a mute at that table. In order to have a place (aka table) for deep work

Overlay table window
Small pop-up window that works as an overlay on top of other applications on the computer. Here you can easily see who is around the table and communicate with them.
New office designs
Pick from versions office designs for you current and new offices. There are different interior designs and sizes.
People window
A window that gives a full view of the team and e.g. availability, location, and message. Clicking on a person brings up the individual Avatar information window.
Background noise is audible
My colleagues and I are having an issue with background noise, like keyboard typing, being audible when sitting around a table. We all have noise suppression enabled in the Bezoned settings menu. The issue should be noticeable as soon as you swap between a Teams meeting and a table in the BeZoned office.
Rename table
Be able to name tables to what makes sense to our office and organization.
Microphone and "Always on" not intuitive
It is not intuitive how the microphone button and the Always on slider work together
Desktop app
Let BeZoned run in an desktop application on e.g. PC and Mac. This makes it possible to automatically open BeZoned when you open the computer in the morning and is also a requrement for creating the overlay functionality we need for the pop-up table window.
Audio issues
Me and my coworkers are experiencing frequent issues with the audio. The most frequent is audio not reaching the people at the same table, sometimes one way but mostly both ways - I would be able to hear someone, but they cannot hear me. In most cases user icons will pulse orange and no audio connection seems present. The issue is really disruptive and occurs multiple times a day, and can require moving between tables or full restart to fix.
Microphone disconnecting
Me and another coworker have experienced our microphones stop working while sitting at one of the virtual desks in Bezoned. The microphone indicator in the button panel at the bottom of the window will change from its regular “green” state to a “loading” spinning icon that never finishes, as though the app is attempting to reconnect to the microphone. So far it has happened three times with about twenty-thirty minute intervals where it works fine. Our current method of fixing it is by restarting Bezoned - moving between tables have not been able to improve it.
